Chase Center Is Hosting World Cup Watch Parties on the Plaza

Chase Center opened its plaza for free World Cup watch parties starting June 11, with a giant outdoor screen and a crowd that showed up in force.

Chase Center is hosting free outdoor watch parties for the 2026 FIFA World Cup on the plaza outside the arena. The screen went up on opening day, June 11, and the crowd turned out early.

The setup is outside — no tickets required. The plaza holds a large crowd comfortably, and on the first day it was clearly working. People came in national jerseys from a dozen countries, which made it easy to tell who was rooting for whom.

The location makes sense for this. Mission Bay has the waterfront nearby, plenty of space, and easy BART access from the 4th and King station. Parking is available in the Chase Center garage if you’re driving, though the garage fills up fast on match days.

The 2026 World Cup runs through mid-July, with the final on July 19. Chase Center has not published a full event schedule, so check @chasecenter for which matches they’re screening. The watch parties are free to attend.
