BIGFACE: Jimmy Butler's Coffee Popup on Valencia
Jimmy Butler's BIGFACE coffee popup at Valencia and 22nd — espresso from $4, lattes about $9, when the Corner Store residency is open.
BIGFACE is back on Valencia and 22nd, occupying Square’s Corner Store — the old Lucca Ravioli space that’s been cycling pop-ups since 2019.

Jimmy Butler started BIGFACE during the NBA bubble in 2020, brewing coffee in his hotel room and selling it to other players. It grew from there into a proper brand with a permanent flagship in Miami. The SF popups are partly a proving ground — Butler has said he’s looking for a permanent Bay Area location.
The menu is straightforward: espresso $4, cortado $7, cappuccino $8, latte $9, pour-over and cold brew $10 each. Specialty formulas (Tonic 002 vanilla and orange, Tonic 003 spice and citrus, Black Sesame Latte, Coconut Cloud Latte) are $10. You can add infusions (vanilla, lavender, salted caramel, strawberry) to most drinks. The $100 flight exists if you want it.

The retail shelf stocks BIGFACE whole-bean coffee — the Earthshine multi-origin blend is the main one — along with branded merchandise.

The coffee is good. The prices are reasonable for specialty. It’s worth a stop if you’re already in the Mission — Alnico is just one block south at 1050 Valencia if you want brunch after. For more on the neighborhood, see the Mission District guide.
Other specialty stops are in the SF specialty coffee guide.
