Sunday out at Saint Francis Fountain

Late brunch at St. Francis Fountain on 24th and York. Pancakes and huevos rancheros. Old-school diner since 1918.

Late brunch at St. Francis Fountain. Got there around 1pm on Sunday.

St. Francis Fountain exterior at 24th and York Street

We had pancakes and huevos rancheros. Old-school diner vibe—they’ve been here since 1918, one of the oldest ice cream parlors in San Francisco. Red booths, counter seating, vintage feel.

Good spot for weekend brunch. Gets busy but turnover is fast.

For more brunch options, Alnico on Valencia does ube hotcakes. Donaji on Calle 24 serves Oaxacan brunch dishes. Both are nearby in the Mission.
