Kitchen Renovation: Before Demolition (Old Chimney, Sink

This is what it looked like before we did our demolition.

Dust was the biggest concern. We sealed off the demolition area with heavy-duty plastic sheets to keep it from spreading to the rest of the house.

We cleared the hallway of furniture to give the demolition crew room to work.

The old chimney took up a whole corner and served no purpose. I hated looking at it.

The sink was old and didn’t match anything else in the room. It had to go as part of the full remodel.

Oh and we have these exposed pipes. They look terrible and our hope is to have them relocated behind the walls.
